Screening built for Christian K–12 compliance
Christian schools sit at a difficult intersection: they must meet state education screening requirements (which vary by every state), diocesan or denominational Safe Environment standards, insurance-carrier requirements, and their own board policies — often all at once. Ministry Facts is one of the only screening platforms that lets you configure all four in one workflow.

at a fraction of the teacher-check price so you can screen every parent driver, field-trip helper, and after-school volunteer without blowing your budget.
Screening packages by school role
Classroom teachers and administrators
The Premium package ($65.00) covers multi-state criminal, county criminal, national sex offender registry, SSN trace, past address, terrorist watchlist, two reference verifications, and two employer verifications. Add Education Verification ($10.00), Professional License Verification ($10.00), and any state-specific fingerprinting or Child Abuse Registry check as needed — additional court and state fees may apply.
Coaches, aides, and after-school program staff
The Enhanced package ($45.00) covers multi-state criminal, county criminal, national sex offender registry, SSN trace, past address, and terrorist watchlist. Add MVR ($7.00) for anyone transporting students.
Volunteer parents and chaperones
Basic package at $22.50 per volunteer covers multi-state criminal, national sex offender registry, SSN trace, past address, and terrorist watchlist — affordable enough to screen every field-trip parent without financial friction. Upgrade to Enhanced ($45.00) to add a county criminal check.
Board members, contractors, and vendors
Standard screening plus OFAC and business affiliation search for finance-facing roles. Customizable per school policy.
The two most-missed requirements in Christian school screening
In our audit of 200+ Christian school screening programs, these are the two most-frequently-missed items:
- Volunteer parents who transport students in personal vehicles. Most schools require a criminal check but skip the Motor Vehicle Report, which is the single most predictive check for driver safety incidents. Every Ministry Facts volunteer-driver package includes MVR by default.
- Child Abuse Registry search in the applicant’s prior states. A California teacher moving to Tennessee needs the Tennessee registry AND the California registry checked. Most vendors only run the current state. Ours runs the full residency history automatically.
Denominational and diocesan reporting
For schools operating under a Catholic diocese, Assemblies of God district, or similar oversight structure, we can format screening reports and completion dashboards to match the denomination’s Safe Environment reporting standards, including bulk exports for annual compliance review.
